Upper Falls Greenway is endorsed heartily

At a public meeting on February 12, the Urban Falls Greenway proposal–a rail-to-trail project–was endorsed 9-0 by the Upper Falls Area Council.  Thanks to Village14 for announcing the meeting and to all the activists who are making it happen!

Thanks for the mention Matt. We’re excited that now that the Area COuncil has voted unanimously in support of the plan, the city can begin its work. The route of the Greenway goes right through the heart of the village ( runs right behind the Depot and the Biltmore) so it should bring more foot traffic and bike traffic into the village.
