		<description>This is an important issue. We need to encourage cyclists, and pedestrians/walking, these regulations are outdated and led to the suburban sprawl in America. Not everyone drives, let the restaurants and cafes flourish, it will only add value to our city.</description>

We used that item as a starting point for conversations that we&#039;re having with a bunch of restaurateurs, the Chamber, and aldermen including Vicki, about how we can get something passed to take the pressure off restaurants.  Thanks for your work last year, with Vicki &amp; George, to give us a head start.

Docket Item #207-09(2), which would amend chapter 30 of our zoning ordinances to allow additional restaurant seating, is currently pending before the Zoning and Planning Committee.</description>
